Here are some common technical questions about your app:

Control

Panel

How do I log into my app Control Panel

To log in to your control panel please navigate to the Brandgarden website and click on the advance app login link in the top right corner in the top menu bar. This will take you to the main login page. That can be found here as well. You might want to book mark this page.

To login you will need to use the app name, your login email and password that will be provided to you from Brandgarden. These login credentials are set at our end by an administrator to stop others from entering your app control panel.

 

How do I edit the text in my app?

You can edit text in the app by:

Login to your app.

Click the section that you want to edit via the menu on the left of the screen. Note if the module is not editable by you then you will not see an edit box.

Edit the text by clicking and make  the changes you require. Click save and update app.

Can I change the pictures for the buttons?

You are not able to change the icons, icon photos or images that are your icons on the app. These are set and programmed by your tech. Please contact us for changes.

Loyalty

How Do I use the Loyalty Card

Merchants:
According to the roles assigned to the users of the app, the Loyalty Card block functions differently.

As a merchant, you enter the Loyalty Card just like all other users. You will use the loyalty card area to reward customers credits that they can later redeem for prizes or discounts.

– To award points to customers, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to the Loyalty Card feature in your app. It will open to your user profile and personal QR code.
  2. Click on the “Merchant” button in the top right corner.
  3. Scan the customer’s personal QR code with your device.
  4. Add or subtract points to the user under “Customer Info” and hit “Confirm” to reward the points to him/her.
  5. If you’ve made a mistake, go back to the QR code scanner and tap on “Administration.” Find the user’s name in the list and tap on it to get the same “Customer Info” page. Make the appropriate adjustments.

– To assign a different role/authorization level, do the following:

  1. Scan the user’s personal QR code or select them from the “Administration” page.
  2. Press the “Change Authorization level” button, select the role you’d like to give that person and press the “Change Authorization level” button again to confirm.

What Are Roles

Roles:

In general, the roles that can be assigned work as follows:

Unauthorized: Isn’t a client and and is not registered for a loyalty card. Requires account activation or verification.
Authorized and Customer: Can log in to the app and/or are registered for a loyalty card.
Employee: An employee can scan a customer’s loyalty card QR code and assign points to users or help them redeem prizes they’ve earned.
Manager and Boss: Have extra rights in terms of points and user management. A Boss ranks above a Manager. Bosses can send push messages from the app.

Please note: Only Authorized users and Customers can receive reward points.

How Do I Add A Loyalty Coupon?

How to add a coupon in the Control Panel

Step one: Navigate to the Loyalty Program section of the C-Panel. (see video)

Click add on the Add Button

Add description, photo, title.

Add the value of the coupon. This is calculated by how many points you want the consumer to spend. If 1 point = 1 dollar then a coupon with the value of 500 points means that the customer would have spent $500 in your store.

Be sure to show how to edit dates that the coupon runs from and too. Tell them the coupon will not show up if the dates are not current.

Emphasis that you should put a photo in to make it attractive in the app. You can show this if you want.

How Do I Send A Push Message

Push notifications are a key business driver that allow you to directly communicate with your clients either all together, in groups or individually.

These notifications show up as messages directly on the clients phone and are stored in the phones message center and also on the messages section of the app.

You can make customers aware of sales, coupons, specials, events and much more with push.

You can even set up lists for when specific items come into your store.

Heres how to send a general notification to all your customers.

First you should login to the control panel for your app. This is covered in our other video about the control panel.

Navigate to the Push Messages section and select Add.

Write your message. You will have up to 140 characters to write.

Select a category to send to. If you leave this blank it will go to all users. We will cover categories in a bit.

Click on the Send From and select the time you want the push to go out. Select “Now” if you want it to go right away.

Remember to select your time Zone. This is important.

Click next and on the next page Select the section you want to open when the message is clicked on. You can select any part of the app. IE coupons, photos, loyalty etc.

Click Finish and you are done.

What is the 3% under allowance policy?
